Brittanie’s Rapist Murder Suspect Was Arrested Before

Rapist killer suspect Shaun Taylor.
Arrest made in botched Boulevard abduction. Myrtle Beach Police arrested a McClellanville man wanted in connection to a kidnapping attempt a week ago in Myrtle Beach -- a case that has eery similarities to that of missing spring breaker Brittanee Drexel.

Shaun Taylor, 37, turned himself in Wednesday morning to face charges of attempted kidnapping and first degree assault. An arrest warrant was obtained Monday, and despite two days of searching, detectives were unable to locate Taylor. Taylor has been booked at the Myrtle Beach jail and is awaiting a bond hearing.

On July 21, a Tennessee woman reported to police that three men in a van approached her on Ocean Boulevard and tried to kidnap her. According to the police report, Randa Massey, 20, was walking on Ocean Boulevard near the BlueWater Resort around 4:30 p.m. when she heard what sounded like a van "creep up behind her."

Girl Abducted, Gang-raped 5 Days, Killed & Fed To Gators

Brittanee Drexel (17) in 2009.
In chilling new court testimony, authorities have described what they believe missing teen Brittanee Drexel's last days were like: She was kidnapped then gang raped for days and fatally shot, before being thrown to alligators, an FBI agent said earlier this month.

Drexel, then 17, vanished without a trace on April 25, 2009. The rising soccer star had gone away with friends on a spring break trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, but without her parents' permission. She was last seen leaving the Blue Water Resort on Ocean Boulevard, the busy main drag.

For more than seven years, Drexel's case has remained a mystery and source of deep grief to her parents. Authorities have only said that they believe she was killed after being held against her will for several days.

What exactly was 1962 Federal Mu (Federal Policy)?

(Repost of my earlier post "What exactly was 1962 Federal Mu (Federal Policy)?")

Shan State of Burma.
Like most people of Burma, I have heard the term Federal Mu for a very long time but didn’t really know what it was exactly.

Most Burmese old enough to live through Ne Win’s Ma-Sa-La Socialist era know very well that General Ne Win’s well-publicized excuse for his 1962 Coup was to maintain the territorial integrity of our Union of Burma since the Shans were demanding their secession from the Union according to their Federal Mu or Policy declared in February 1962.

So what exactly was that dreaded Federal Mu? To answer that question I have translated the Shans’ February 1962 Declaration or Demand to amend the 1947 Constitution of Union of Burma. That Shans’ Declaration or Demand was officially called and widely known as The Federal Mu.

Hilary Clinton Denounces So-called “Alt-Right” Extremists

The 'Alt-Right' Is Thrilled By Hillary Clinton's Denunciation. The attention shows "we've made it," a neo-Nazi website declared. Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s powerful (or rather crazy) denunciation Thursday of “alt-right” extremism that she said GOP opponent Donald Trump embraces was cheered by adherents of the political philosophy.

Clinton, linking Trump with white nationalists and a “radical fringe,” delivered a blistering attack on what she said was the alt-right’s takeover of the Republican Party. In doing so, she cast a spotlight on the obscure movement, thrusting it into mainstream political discussion.

“She is doing the white nationalism movement a great service by bringing attention to our issues to the forefront of political debate,” said William Johnson, a leader of the white nationalist American Freedom Party who was selected by Trump as a California delegate during the primary, but later resigned.

American Journalism Is Collapsing Before Our Eyes

Donald Trump may or may not fix his campaign, and Hillary Clinton may or may not become the first female president. But something else happening before our eyes is almost as important: the complete collapse of American journalism as we know it.

The frenzy to bury Trump is not limited to the Clinton campaign and the Obama White House. They are working hand in hand with what was considered the cream of the nation’s news organizations. The shameful display of naked partisanship by the elite media is unlike anything seen in modern America.

The largest broadcast networks — CBS, NBC and ABC — and major newspapers like the New York Times and Washington Post have jettisoned all pretense of fair play. Their fierce determination to keep Trump out of the Oval Office has no precedent.

Indeed, no foreign enemy, no terror group, no native criminal gang suffers the daily beating that Trump does. The mad mullahs of Iran, who call America the Great Satan and vow to wipe Israel off the map, are treated gently by comparison.

Myanmar Rising: How Democracy Is Changing Yangon

As the country opens up to the outside world, the old capital has become the latest playground for international developers, putting the city’s historic fabric under pressure. Will its people be able to keep up?

“Premium life for your dream,” announces a billboard beneath a new tower of serviced apartments in the heaving, traffic-choked city of Yangon. “Play in infinite luxury,” says another featuring a couple lolling in a pool on their balcony, with a badly photoshopped pagoda twinkling in the background.

Along with the arrival of democracy and the first civilian government since 1962, Myanmar is also embracing the novelty of unbridled speculative development. Six months on from the election that swept the Nobel prize-winning campaigner Aung San Suu Kyi’s party to power, the skyline of Yangon is bristling with cranes and concrete frames as a clutch of new towers rises above the mouldering rooftops of the old colonial centre.

Saudi Woman Left In Car For 10 Hours Died

Riyadh| A 36-year old woman was found dead after being left all day in a hot sport utility vehicle in a factory parking lot. According to Saudi authorities, Fiza Haifeh died of hyperthermia after spending more than 10 hours locked up in her husband’s car, with the temperature hovering around 45 °C (113 Fahrenheit) much of the afternoon.

Her husband told officers that he didn’t have time to drop his wife off at home before going to work and that he forgot to open a window like he usually did when he left her in the car. The temperature inside the car is believed to have rapidly reached over 70 °C (158 Fahrenheit). Stuck inside the car for hours at such temperatures, the woman had no chance of survival.

Saudi Interior Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Mansour al-Turki, told reporters that no charges would be filed against Fiza Haifeh’s husband, since her death was unintentional. Every year, approximately 2500 people die of hyperthermia across the world after being left in vehicles.

Bangladeshi Imam Executed In NYC’s Queens

NEW YORK (AP) — The leader of a New York City mosque and a follower were fatally shot in a brazen daylight attack as they left afternoon prayers Saturday.

Police said no motive had been established and there was no reason to believe the men were shot because they were Muslim. No suspects were in custody late Saturday.

This undated photo provided by Abdul Chowdhury, Imam Maulama Akonjee is shown. Akonjee and another man died in a fatal shooting Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, as they left the Al-Furqan Jame Masjid mosque in the Queens borough of New York after prayers. Police say that motive has yet to be determined.
